Several years ago, my family and I went on a Disney Cruise. It was a great vacation and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. One thing that really impressed me, apart from the things to do and enjoy, was the cleanliness of the ship and the extra lengths the staff went to ensure everything was kept spotless.
This was especially so in the buffet and dining areas. There was always someone cleaning and ensuring that the areas were kept as clean as possible.
It was really great to see and really made us feel special. It made us feel safe as well.
It was also one of the contributing factors to us making a second vacation on Disney Cruises a few seasons later.
While the same levels of cleanliness were there and the ship was generally clean, we didn’t feel the rules of cleanliness were as strongly enforced second time round. With the first, simple things like hand washing were highly encouraged. The second time, it felt like it didn’t matter.
It felt like the standards had slipped and it really didn’t fill us with confidence that we were being cared for properly. While it wouldn’t put us off going again in the future, we would certainly hope for the returning of those original standards, particularly as a consequence of the pandemic.
What does this have to do with us at Back & Body?
The bottom line is we want you to be safe and feel safe too. We want your experience with us to be the same experience my family and I experienced on our first Disney Cruise.
This means we have very high standards of cleanliness in our office to protect you, our patients and our staff too.
We make no apologies for this. We all wear masks all day long to help reduce the spread of any possible contamination. We also expect our patients to follow suit and to wear their masks when coming to our practice.
We also temperature check anyone coming in to ensure no one is fighting a fever or sick and we will turn patients away if high temperatures are detected, advising them to see their primary physician as soon as possible.
Our practice is constantly kept clean and we sanitize our treatment areas in between patients.
We are very strict about keeping our practice safe and clean for you and for our staff. We want our patients to trust us with their health and wellbeing, just as I trusted Disney with my health and well being on our Disney Cruises.
The CDC and our state governor have mandated these rules for a reason. We all want to beat this virus. We all want life to return to normal as soon as possible.
We are doing our part in this, we expect our patients to come to us and maintain these high standards as well. It’s for the good of all.
So we want to welcome everyone into our practice and to assure them that we are following CDC guidelines. We are keeping the office clean, we are sanitizing treatment areas between patients and we are all wearing masks all the time.
We want to treat your pain, help you get back to full fitness and to provide proper rehabilitation to you in clean and sanitized conditions.
Most of all we want you to feel confident that we are maintaining these high standards to ensure your wellbeing and health.
